Snore Away

Introduction

Snoring i s the vibration of respiratory structures and the resulting sound, due to obstructed air movement during

breathing while sleeping. The structures which are affected are usually the uvula and soft palate. Because of blockage,

there is an improper flow of air, which causes the person to snore . The throat or pharynx is a muscular tube that relaxes

when you sleep, thereby decreasing in size. In some people, the narrowing is enough to cause vibration of soft tissues in

the pharynx, and this produces the noise of snoring. You can say that snoring is simply a loud sound that one makes during

breathing while asleep. Snoring is noisy breathing through the mouth or nose during sleep.

Big John’s Steak and Onion Sub

“Big John’s Steak and Onion” is a favorite local fast food franchise
here in Flint, Michigan. They have been in business for as long as I
can remember, and they are always very busy. The food is
made-to-order on big grills right in front of you, so it wasn’t hard to
figure out how to duplicate this at home. I just wanted to share this
recipe with those who may not otherwise get a chance to enjoy this
incredible sandwich.

10 min | 5 min prep | SERVES 1
1 good quality seeded sub bun or hoagie bun
1/3 lb shaved rib eye steaks
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup canned mushrooms, heated
2 slices deli provolone cheese
1/4 cup pickled banana pepper rings
Slice bun 2/3 through lengthwise and spread open.
Place cheese slices on bun.
Heat skillet or grill to medium to high heat.
Stir fry steak and onions until cooked through.
Salt and pepper to taste while cooking.
Place cooked steak and onions immediately onto bun.
Top with the mushrooms and peppers to taste.





I’ve made up my mind…

I want to lose some extra baggage. About 40lbs. of it. You see i, have a wedding coming up in October of which i am one of the star players (the Groom). I want more than anything to be at a good weight so that i dont look like some fat slob for the rest of my life in those pictures. I’ve done all of the planning and now the tough part is upon me, execution.

Ill be posting up my spreadsheets that i am using for tracking my progression. I intend to use this blog as a kind of personal accountability platform. I will be posting stats and maybe even pictures so that in the end i can see a before and after.

40 pounds in 4 months…

Sounds steep, but i think know i can do it.
